From September 23 to 27, the Rupertikirtag invites visitors to a traditional festival in the heart of Salzburg’s Old Town. Held in honor of St. Rupert, the patron saint of the province of Salzburg, the Residenzplatz, Alter Markt, Mozartplatz, Domplatz, and Kapitelplatz are transformed into a lively festival promenade featuring traditional customs, regional culinary specialties, and a varied entertainment program for the whole family.
SVV Fuel Fridays: Travel to and from the Salzburg Rupertikirtag by bus and train is free of charge throughout the entire Province of Salzburg.
