Salzburg has a new distillery!
Herr Bebek makes his spirits and liqueurs from high-quality fruits sourced locally using traditional methods with a state-of-the-art touch.
He has a particular passion for the unusual and places a focus on aroma, purity and clarity.
All Rainer Bebek’s efforts are concentrated on one thing – his ambition to make spirits and liqueurs as much a delight for the connoisseur as fine wines – providing for top quality enjoyment rather than cheap inebriation.
His products are already popular with the gastronomic trade in Salzburg. Two of the city’s leading restaurants, the Weiserhof and the Urbankeller, are already stocking a selection of his classic Austrian spirits, rum and spruce shoot liqueur.

In 2019, a BEBEK single malt whisky was launched, a product of which the distiller is particularly proud – it has already won an award.
Reiner Bebek
Rainer Bebek has been interested in fine spirits and liqueurs since 2009. While successfully training as a spirits sommelier in 2014 he was able to extend his knowledge of the processing of fruits and the refining of the resultant distillates to produce fully-flavoured spirits and liqueurs. He then took courses at the World-Spirits Academy to further develop his sensory sensitivity for spices, herbs, aromas and scents. With these newly-won skills, he was able to give his products an enhanced depth of flavour and bouquete.

Bebek has been exhibiting and winning prizes since 2011 at the Salzburg State Awards competition
and at the Ab Hof Wieselburg trade fair.
